Day description
Cross the southern plains before dawn and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater as mist lifts from the caldera floor. After an extensive crater game drive and picnic brunch continue through Karatu to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport.

Depart early across the plains and descend the 600-metre crater access road as mist lifts. Search the caldera floor for lion prides, elephant bulls, buffalo, hyena and the possibility of black rhino.
Afternoon
