Package Overview What this trip is, in a nutshell
"Half a million calves born in a few short weeks - the Serengeti's most extraordinary season, privately."

Season of Beginnings follows the Great Migration's calving story between roughly January and March, when an estimated 400,000 to 500,000 wildebeest calves are born on the short-grass plains around Ndutu. The open mineral-rich grasslands draw cheetah, lion and hyena to one of Africa's most concentrated periods of predator activity.

Two nights at Ndutu are the heart of this private five-day journey. The route begins among Tarangire's baobabs and elephant herds, continues through the resident big-cat country of the Central Serengeti, and finishes with an early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater.

A dedicated 4x4 Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof and a professional English-speaking Tanzanian guide-driver is yours throughout. Accommodation combines a Karatu highland lodge with tented camps inside the Serengeti ecosystem. The route remains flexible because calving and herd positions are driven by rainfall; your guide follows current wildlife and road conditions while keeping the itinerary private and customizable.

The displayed per-person price is based on two travelers sharing. Solo travel is available only by tailored quotation because the single-room supplement depends on exact dates and availability.
