Package Overview What this trip is, in a nutshell
"Three days, one volcano: walk with giraffe through the crater, then greet sunrise at 4,562 metres with Kilimanjaro watching."

Sunrise on Socialist Peak is a private three-day trek on Mount Meru's Momella Route. The trail begins in the giraffe-dotted grasslands of Arusha National Park, climbs through montane forest and giant heather, and follows the dramatic crater rim to Tanzania's second-highest summit at first light.

Your party treks with its own licensed mountain guide, armed park ranger, cook and porter team. The pace, rest stops, photography breaks and summit-night departure are planned around your group. Porters carry the main duffels while the guide conducts twice-daily health checks and manages acclimatisation.

The two mountain nights are spent in the TANAPA huts at Miriakamba and Saddle. These are supported trekking facilities with bunk rooms, shared washrooms and communal dining halls. Fresh meals, hot drinks, purified water and every required park, hut, rescue and ranger fee are included.

The displayed price is the verified high-season benchmark for two travelers. Solo departures are available only by tailored quotation because the correct solo package rate cannot be represented by the website's generic automatic formula. Summit weather, views and wildlife sightings are controlled by nature and cannot be guaranteed.
