Kilimanjaro is served by KLM from Amsterdam, Qatar Airways via Doha, Turkish Airlines via Istanbul, Ethiopian via Addis Ababa, Kenya Airways via Nairobi, RwandAir via Kigali and Precision Air regionally. From North America the usual routings are via Amsterdam, Doha or Addis. Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam add Emirates, flydubai, Oman Air and seasonal European charters.
We quote safaris without international airfare. That is deliberate: fares vary enormously by departure city and by how early you book, and you will almost always do better booking your own flights, using miles, or working with an agent at home than paying us to resell them. We are happy to advise on routings and to check that your arrival and departure times work with the itinerary before you buy.
Book early for July, August, September, Christmas and New Year — these are the peak weeks and both fares and safari availability tighten together. Leave a comfortable connection on the way in; if a bag goes missing, a long layover is what gets it to you before you leave for the parks.
